The Blackmagic Audio Monitor 12G has two large and vivid audio level meters on its front panel that utilize multicolored RGB LEDs underneath each segment. You have the option to choose between VU or PPM or loudness scales, with a selection of EBU or BBC meters. The meter segments are plentiful, allowing you to monitor an extensive dynamic range from -45 to +3 dB, -12 to +12 dB, or 0 to 7 dB, depending on the scale you choose. Additionally, you can meter loudness using standard loudness, K-weighted, relative to full scale (LKFS) to normalize levels for broadcast TV and video delivery. The bright audio level meters are legible in both bright and dark environments.
